"-tion”: a suffix occurring in words expressing action (revolution; commendation), or a state of being (contrition; starvation). Formed in December 2005, -tion is a new blend of sludge rock mixed with mid-90's grunge. They’ve been compared to the talents of Alice in Chains, STP, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath. Add the vocal likes of Maria Sjoholm (Drain STH), Fiona Apple and Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), and you've got a unique sound that has yet to be described even by its biggest fan. Hard and heavy, but not fast. Dark and gloomy, but not death. Beautiful, melodic and honest.
